Good dinner turnout

Sagebrush Senior Center

There were seven here to play Bingo on Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Carl Kerbs, Lila Worden, Nadene Kerbs and Berneil McCord. Lila Worden won the $5 black out round. It was so nice to have Carl and Nadene Kerbs here. Hopefully they can make it more often now that summer is over.

There were only six people for Bridge Monday. High winner was Bob Johnson. Second high went to Gertrude Herold.

The LIEAP forms are being mailed out and when you get yours I will be very happy to help you fill it out if you would like me to. If you do not get a form we can print one off of the internet, so please be watching for your form.

We had our birthday anniversary dinner on Friday. We had a wonderful turnout. The biggest crowd we have had in a while. Those having birthdays this month are, Ralph Harper, Neal Kirk, Dawna Erickson, Tom Mansfield, Gary Babel, Garland Bartlett, Jane Fluty, Bev Hempel, Gloria Rakness, Betty Raymer, and Barb Wise. The only ones having an anniversary this month were Allen and Barb Youngberg. Dawna Erickson won the money tree. Teense Willford and Ray Bernal were here for our entertainment. It was nice to have Micki Anderson here with us. Also Armond and Janet Zahn brought two of their granddaughters, Callie and Ava, with them. It was fun to have them here as well.

We will be closed the day after Thanksgiving so if you will be needing an extra meal for the long weekend please let us know by Tuesday, so we can send your extra meal out with your meal on Wednesday.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Nadine Caleb. Nadine was such a joy to have here at the center. She always had a kind word for everyone and was always ready with a joke or story. We will miss her so very much up here. They will be having a small service for her up here at 11 a.m., Dec 5, and we would like to invite everyone to come up and share in the memories of our little Nadine.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to Gloria Rakness and Carol Clemetson. They lost a sister this past week.

Friday we received word that Dr. Lunt passed away. He and Suzie lived here for many years and was a wonderful doctor to everyone. We will all miss him very much.
