Thanksgiving dinner Friday

Saratoga Senior Center

There were not enough here to play bingo on Tuesday.

There were only six people for bridge Monday. High winner was Joni Johnson. Second high went to Gertrude Herold.

The LIEAP forms are being mailed. When you get yours I will be happy to help you fill it out. If you do not get a form we can print one off of the internet. So please be watching for your form.

We want to wish Rose Mary Craighead a speedy recovery. She was taken to the hospital over the weekend and was in there most of this past week.

It was nice to have Betty Vyvey’s granddaughter Bryony here with us on Wednesday. She just started a new job a couple of months ago and now she travels to eight different states for her job. She just happened to make it here before the roads closed.

Also on Wednesday Sheila Johnson brought Karen Hall Dibbern with her to lunch. Mary Alice Sjoden taught here in third grade. This is the first time they had been together since then, so they had a lot of catching up to do. It was very nice to meet her.

We will be having our ThanksGiving birthday dinner this Friday the 20th. Please come and join us. We would love to have everyone. Just try to give us a call before you come so we have plenty fixed.

We want to congratulate Teense and Sandy Willford on getting moved into their new house. It has been quite an ordeal but they are now spending the nights there.

It is good to have Joni Johnson coming more often. Please keep it up.

We will be closed the day after Thanksgiving so if you will be needing an extra meal for the long weekend please let us know by Tuesday, Nov. 24 so we can send your extra meal out with you on Wednesday.
