Kiwanis swears in new officers

The Platte Valley Kiwanis swore in their officers for the 2015/2016 year. Left to right are: Wanda Erger, treasurer; Valerie Mason, secretary; Barb Youngberg, president elect and Dave Gloss, president. The Kiwanis have been active in the Platte Valley since 1990. They have served infants and young children, families and children and senior citizens by purchasing gifts, supplying baby packets for newborns, sponsoring the milk and muffins program, providing infant car seats for new families, providing gifts for the Christmas Giving Tree, sponsoring the Stars of Tomorrow Talent Show, providing Saratoga Pool swim passes and providing Mother's Day and Father's Day gifts at the Saratoga Care Center. These are just a few of the things the organization does in the Valley year round.
