County board meeting Oct. 20

There were two-and-a half-tables for Duplicate Bridge Monday. High winners were Vivien Campbell and Sheila Johnson. Second high went to Mariel O’Grady and Mary Sjoden.

The LIEAP forms are being mailed out and when you get yours I will be very happy to help you fill it out if you would like me to. If you do not get a form we can print one off of the internet, so please be watching for your form.

It is so nice to have Nadine Caleb back with us. She is coming along. Hopefully she will be back to her old self soon. Also she brought Jack and Jody Moore her daughter and son-in-law with her on Friday. It was great to have them join us.

We want to thank the Community Center staff for thinking of the seniors when they had several trays of finger food left over from the dedication of the gym floor. We put it out for the seniors to take on Friday. They all took some home with them to enjoy for dinner. That was very thoughtful of you.

We had flu shots up here on Thursday. They said their turnout was great, so hopefully we will all be safe from the flu this winter.

We will be having the county board meeting here on the Oct. 20. If anyone would like to come meet all the board members, you are more than welcome to come for the meeting at 9:30 and stay for lunch if you would like.
