Flu shot clinic this week

Sagebrush Senior Center

Good Day to everyone! The cooler air has moved in so now the heat is turned on at the center, at least in the mornings.

Our chatter group for coffee in the mornings, this past week, were Smiley, The Joker, Happy, Doc, Helpful, Cheerful, Chuckles and Bashful. They dared me to do it! Can you guess who is who?

Our dedicated Domino players were Joe and Shelia Remick, Lorraine Knotwell, Dick Blake and Phil Fleming. I have no idea who won the games since nobody circled their name. Guess the cat got it!

The lovely quilters finished the blue quilt and have another going with diamonds and stripes. It is very colorful and someone did tell me whose it is, but it seems I have forgotten ... guess it’s contagious! Haha. Those stitchers are Nancy Lynch, Karen Casson, Lila Walbye, Jo Roberson, Susan Peryam, Phyllis Smith, Nancy Flohr, Vonda Wieburg, Rosalie Cousins, Sandy Miller and Jerry Cronk stopped by to offer his assistance, a snippet here and there.

Jo Remick and Jo Roberson finished the puzzle and started and finished another small one. They sure can put those pieces together fast.

The Bridge Builders are Sheila Johnson, MaryLou Noton, Whitey and Alice Stewart, Millie Parker, Rosemary Craighead, Vivien Campbell, and John Blue. With two tables, those bridges get built fast.

A reminder to everyone we have the flu shot clinic here is from 1-3 p.m. Thursday. If you want to eat lunch with us beforehand, please give us a call.

We also have Saturday Breakfast at noon this coming Saturday. Breakfast burritos smothered with your choice of green chili or sausage gravy, yummy stuff!

Some of the snow birds are starting to fly south for the winter. We will miss you, but will be happy to see you in the spring.

We would like to send some well wishes and prayers to the folks who are struggling with ailments at home. Hope you all get better soon.
