Good birthday turnout

There were two-and-a-half tables for Duplicate Bridge Monday. High winners were Pat Bailey and Janet Donelan. Second high went to Mary Sjoden and John Blue.

The LIEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program) forms are being mailed out and when you get yours I will be happy to help you fill it out. If you do not get a form, we can print one off of the internet.

We had a fair turnout for our birthday dinner on Friday. Those having birthdays this month are Sonja Collamer, Vern Hunt, Sandy Bennett, Judy Dixon, Shorty Ballard, Norma Fuller, Dixie Minear, Don Sherrod, Bill Wickstrom and Eloise Thomas. Vern Hunt won the birthday tree. Those having an anniversary this month are John and Betty Larsen. The Larsens don’t live here anymore but we still want to let them know we are thinking of them and wish them well. Teense was here for our entertainment. It is always a pleasure to have him here. Also we had Cherri Moore, Viola Ross and Kathy Santy here with us Friday. Viola and Kathy are cousins of Marty Perue. It was fun to have them here.

Nadine Caleb should be out of the hospital on Monday and back over at the nursing home. She will not be able to join us here at the center until she gets stronger. We are all hoping it will be very soon.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Pat Simms who passed away on Friday. She will be missed by all who knew her and loved her.
