The chit chatter of the morning hens have included Laura Rettelle, Connie Beckham, Karen Dibbern, Ellie Behrmann, Linda York, Patty Herring, Arleigh Simmons, Nancy Lynch, Mary Priquet and Rosalie Cousins. They chatter in the mornings and anyone is always welcome to join them!
Our domino players have been Bill and Madeline Telfer, Joe and Shelia Remick, Lorraine Knotwell, Phil Fleming, Jack Riddick and Dick Blake as our most faithful weekly players. We enjoyed having Lila Payton and Roy and Donna Wells join the bunch after dinner on Friday. With Phil and Madeline being the only ones circled for wins.
Nancy Lynch, Karen Casson, Vonda Wieburg, Rosalie Cousins, Sandy Miller, Susan Peryam, Jo Roberson and Phyllis Smith are still stitching away. It takes time, patience and maybe a pricked finger or two, to put the love of quilting into every quilt they do.
Sheila Johnson, Mary Lou Noton, Whitey and Alice Stewart, Millie Parker, Rosemary Craighead, John and Marianne Blue and Paula Harris were the two tables of Bridge builders this week.
The puzzlers just about have this 750 piece one whipped. All that is left are some green trees. Piecers include Madeline and Bill Telfer, Joe Remick and Jo Roberson.
We have next month’s menus out. If you need one, swing by the center and pick one up. We had a nice turnout of 57 people for our Birthday/Anniversary meal Friday evening. We enjoyed some lovely music by the group Cabin Fever. We hope to have them back again as they are a joy to listen to.
There will be a “game night” here at 6 p.m. on Friday if anyone would like to come play.
We will have Blood Pressures at 11:30 a.m. Tuesday right before lunch. Come join us if you can!
