Platte Valley 'trash queen'

Former Saratoga Sun reporter Sarah Hutchins picks up garbage on the side of the North Platte River. The volunteer project, hosted by Trout Unlimited to clean up the river, came back for the first time in years. According to Jim States, president of Platte Valley Trout Unlimited, the project has been unnecessary in recent years because of high water conditions. Several bags of garbage and a canoe were pulled out of the river during the excursion.
