Goings on at the care center

Saratoga Care Center

On Sunday, three residents played Dominoes with Pat Rust winning. On Monday afternoon, residents played Yahtzee with Pat Rust winning. On Tuesday morning, three residents played Uno with Pat Rust winning. On Wednesday afternoon and Friday afternoons, residents played Bingo. Truth Karstoft, Koreen Spoon, Katherine Beckham, and Kenny Hoagland won Four Corners. Truth Karstoft and Kenny Hoagland won Blackouts. Our volunteers were Lila Worden, Dawna Erickson, Elder Springer, and Elder Bingham. Thursday afternoon, six residents played Blackjack with Pat Rust winning. Saturday afternoon, residents played Blackjack.

Movies provided entertainment throughout the week.

Residents did Wii Bowling on Sunday and Monday, Sittercise on Thursday and Friday, and Wii Bowling on Saturday.

On Sunday afternoon, Reverend Miki Laws of the Encampment Presbyterian Church, led our church service. Doris Davis played traditional religious music on her keyboard.

On Wednesday morning, five residents had their hair done, and 11 residents had their fingernails done by Georgia Schroer and Merlynn Hoopes.

On Friday, two residents had egg salad sandwiches and vegetable soup for Lunch Out at the Saratoga Senior Center.

Saturday afternoon, residents enjoyed the Ice Cream Social.

We wish to thank Mrs. Tibbs from Old Baldy Club for the beautiful flowers for the tables in our dining room.
