55 alive well-received

Saratoga Senior Center

There was very nice turnout for the 55 alive driving class on Wednesday. Most of them stayed for lunch so that helped our count. Kenda Coleman said she would be happy to come do another class; all we have to do is call her. So later in the winter or spring if you need to renew let me know.

The LIEAP (Low Income Energy Assistance Program) forms are being mailed out and when you get yours I will be happy to help you fill it out. If you do not get a form we can print one off of the internet.

We had a chili dinner on Tuesday in conjunction with the jam session that we have up here every other Tuesday. There were 34 people for dinner and most of them stayed for the music. It was a big success so we just might do it again. Let us hear your feedback.

We want to wish Nadine Caleb a speedy recovery. She fell and is not getting around too fast. We sure miss her when she does not get over here at least once a week.

Also Grace Johnston has been in the hospital. We wish her a speedy recovery. We always miss her when she is gone, so get well soon.

Milt Briggs and Betty Marquert are staying at the Saratoga Lake and stopped in for lunch on Friday. I think they had a nice visit and enjoyed their lunch. And we all enjoyed meeting them.

I have not mentioned this for a while but I guess it is time once again. There are no names on any of these tables and chairs, so people can sit wherever there is an open place. None of us here have a special table, so please make everyone welcome. Thank you.
