At the Carbon County Commissioners meeting July 21, discussions arose over a dispatch system.
A Memorandum of Understanding is now established between the town of Saratoga and the Carbon County Commissioners to have the town of Saratoga take over the costs of a T1 line that is part of the Enhanced 911 dispatch system to link to Rawlins.
When the line was installed, Carbon County was listed on the contract with Union Wireless to pay for the cost of the line. However, now the town of Saratoga will be assuming those expenses. The cost of this will be approximately $15,000 annually.
The next regular Carbon County Commissioners meeting is Aug. 4 at 9 a.m. in Rawlins at the Carbon County Commissioners meeting room.
