New York then London

Games offered fun and laughter for residents throughout the week. On Sunday afternoon, residents played Dominoes. On Tuesday morning, residents played Uno. On Wednesday and Friday afternoons, residents played Bingo. On Saturday afternoon, residents played Blackjack.

On Sunday afternoon, Pastor Scott Stinson led our church service with Doris Davis on the keyboard and Joe Gaspari leading hymn singing.

On Monday afternoon, five residents went shopping with Sue Morawski. After that, residents went around Saratoga Lake and had ice cream cones.

On Thursday, I flew to New York City and visited my sister. We went to dinner at a restaurant called Pete’s Tavern.

On Friday afternoon, we watched a movie, Far from the Madding Crowd. On Friday evening, I flew to London. Arriving on Saturday morning in London after a seven hour and 15 minute flight, a driver met me and took me to my hotel, The Tower Hotel. My Road Scholar tour group with 22 people had dinner at an Italian restaurant, the River Lounge. London is huge and has lots of traffic. The hotel and the food are great. I had white wine with my dinner.
