The Wyoming Capitol will be open from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. on July 18 and July 25 this year. This allows visitors access to the Capitol for tours and sightseeing on the Saturdays of Cheyenne Frontier Days. The Capitol Information Desk will be staffed.
“Wyoming’s Capitol — one of only 20 in America recognized as a National Historic Landmark — is scheduled to close later this year for renovations. I invite the people of Wyoming, visitors and those in town for Frontier Days to visit and view this beautiful landmark. To make it easier, we have opened the Capitol these extra days,” Governor Matt Mead said.
