August at the library

Several events will happen at libraries in the Carbon County Library System. Teens may tweet the title of a book or graphic novel they have read this month to @CarbonLibTeens or post it to the Carbon County Library System Facebook page (CCLSWY) between the 1st and 4th of every month.

Additionally, Carbon County Library System’s Book Discussion Group is open to any adult who would like to read and participate. Admission is free. The Encampment/Riverside group will meet on August 20. The group will meet at Encampment Library from 7 - 9 p.m., discussing “Snow Child” by Eowyn Ivey. For more information and to reserve a copy, call Dawna Martin at (307) 327-5775.

At the Saratoga Library, guests can attend a presentation by Mitch Bangert, local mushroom enthusiast, on local mushrooms, their life cycle, their jobs and their many benefits to us and our environment.

Please contact Kendra Graham at (307) 328-2621 for more information, or visit carbonlibraries.org.
