West Side Snowy Range Travel Management Plan gets year for more options and assessment
The U.S. Forest Service officials have been able to clarify the remaining timeline in the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) process; and they have decided to extend the original process around a full year.
The alternatives will be released in July. The remainder of 2015 and the early part of 2016 will be used to consider options and write a draft Environmental Assessment.
The draft Environmental Assessment is expected for release in spring of 2016 where another 30-day comment period will be initiated. The notice of proposed decision is expected later in 2016.
