Coach Rex Hohnholt said he was missing two-thirds of his team because of spring break – some of the students had left Thursday for the European trip.
“Some bright things happened for us and we have a lot of things to look forward to,” Hohnholt said.
In the pole vault, Andrew Oiler had an 11-foot vault. Oiler also participated in the 400-meter dash and ran it in 59.52 seconds.
