Three named to All-State

Nine Valley basketball players were named to All-Conference by 1A and 2A coaches, who voted on who they believe are the best basketball players in the state.
For Saratoga, Jace Berger and Braxton Schwartzkopf made the cut in 2A, while Justine Fourman made the cut for the girls All-Conference.
In the 1A conference, Luke Pantle, Guy Erickson and Harold Jackson, with the Encampment Tigers, were named to All-Conference while Cassidy Little, Alyssa Barkhurst and Courtney James made the girls All-Conference list.
Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow had three players make All-Conference, all of them from the girls' team. Lady Miners Haley Clark, Darby Bowen and Maggie Johnson made the list.
Making the All-State list were Luke Pantle, of Encampment; Cassidy Little, of Encampment, and Maggie Johnson, from HEM.
This was Little's second consecutive nod as an All-State player.
