In this exercise, the two troops competed to start a fire and boil an egg. Troop 153 completed the task in 30 minutes and 35 seconds while Troop 607, of Saratoga, finished in 33 minutes and 20 seconds. Temperatures dipped to zero degrees Fahrenheit Friday night as the boys and leaders slept in tents at the Grand Encampment Museum grounds.
