Serving the Platte Valley since 1888
The Saratoga Historical and Cultural Association (SH&CA) is hosting the second annual wine tasting event from 6 to 8 p.m., Friday in the west lobby of the Platte Valley Community Center.
Local restaurants and businesses will feature hors d’oeuvres to compliment wine offered at their establishments, SH&CA board president Liz Wood said.
The event is co-sponsored by Valley Foods and Liquor, Saratoga Resort and Spa, Bella’s Bistro, Offero LLC, Lollypop’s, Sweet Marie’s Bakeshop, Hotel Wolf, Duke’s Bar and Grill and Platte River Pizza.
“This year we invited more restaurants to take part and will have live music and local artists showing their artwork,” Wood said.
The event is a fundraiser to benefit the Saratoga Museum, which houses historic artifacts of the Platte Valley and presents several locally-focused events every year.
Tickets can be purchased at the door. Museum member prices are $15 per person and $25 per couple and non-member prices are $20 per person and $35 per couple. For more information about the wine tasting fundraiser, contact Virginia Parker, the Saratoga Museum director at 307-710-3226.
