Robert Lee (Bob) McCargar, age 84, of Saratoga, passed away Jan. 10, 2015 at Deseret Health and Rehabilitation in Saratoga.
He was born Oct. 6, 1930 in Baggs, Wyoming to Alfred and Edith (Wise) McCargar. He spent his childhood on Muddy Creek near Baggs and in the North Platte Valley near Saratoga.
As a child he either wanted to be a cowboy or a soldier. He was lucky over the course of his life and worked as both. As a young man, he worked on many ranches in the North Platte Valley.
