From fish to frozen

Paul Newman and Greg Frasier took advantage of the unusually warm weather on Dec. 10 and fished on the Upper North Platte River. The Platte Valley's warm weather allowed extra fishing days on the river.

Ducks were enjoying the river on Monday, as ice chunks floated down the river. Temperatures are expected to warm back up later in the week, but not to the 50 degree weather experienced in early December.
