Riverside seeks consensus funding for park

All of the paperwork has been submitted to the state for a $46,977 consensus fund grant to support maintenance and upgrades at Rick Martin Memorial Park.

Decisions on consensus fund grant awards will be made in January.

The town is looking into whether or not an elected official can be a South Central Emergency Medical Service board member. Gary Stull said he has been told he cannot remain on the board since he has been elected to the Encampment Town Council.

Plans were made to contact the Wyoming Attorney General about regulations of joint powers boards in the state.

The council also approved a building permit for Ron and Karran Bedwell who are looking to replace a building on their property.

The next regular town council meeting will be at 6 p.m. on Dec. 11 at the Riverside Town Hall.
