Lindy Glode, of Saratoga, was one of 87 women nominated for the Wyoming Women of Influence award.
Glode said she did not know who nominated her, but was grateful because there are a lot of women who qualify.
"I have always believed that women need to hold each other up, not put each other down," Glode said. "Lots of women do good things."
Glode said she was notified by email that she had been nominated and asked if it was for her volunteer work, as she belongs to many volunteer boards.
Glode found out she was nominated for her work as a councilperson in Sinclair, her five terms as District Court Clerk and as a County Commissioner.
"I guess you could say I was nominated for my perseverance," Glode said.
