There were six here for bingo Tuesday. two-dollar winners were, Pat Faust, Dorothy Miller, Berneil McCord, Grace Johnston, and Sue Howe. Grace Johnston won the four-dollar blackout.
There were three tables for Duplicate Bridge on Monday. High winners were Vivien Campbell and Gertrude Harold. Second high went to Glee Johnson and Mariel O’Grady.
I have the forms for the Elderly and Disabled tax returns. Stop by and get one or call and I will help you fill them out and get them sent back. You have until Aug. 31 to get the forms in. Qualifications are you have to be at least 65, if you are single you can make up to $17,500 per year. Married couple can make up to $28,500. Your time is running out. You only have until the last of August.
I reported that Jean Shepherd had hip surgery. She had back surgery. I just reported it wrong.
Also, Gertrude Herold had back surgery and is doing very well.
We just heard that Tom Vanselow also had back surgery. He is at home recovering. Get better real soon Tom.
I want to thank my son and husband for getting our new dishwasher put in. It is so nice to not be wiping up water all day.
We will be having our birthday anniversary dinner this Friday, so be sure you call in advance so we have enough to feed you.
We had seven people here for the movie on Thursday. The movie was called “The Other Women”. It was funny and I think everyone enjoyed it and the popcorn. See you next month for the next one. If you have a movie you would like to see let me know and I will try to get it.
