Police Report

From June 16, 2014 to June 22, 2014, the Saratoga Police Department responded to 124 calls including the following classifications:

911 hang up (1); animal problem (2); bar check (9); business checks (35); destruction of property (1); barking dog complaint (1); lost dog (3); dog tag (2); fight (2); hot pool check (16); hot pool violation (1); intoxicated person (1) lost property (3); loud noise complaint (2); paper service (3); parking problem (1); probation or parole violation (1); record check (3); suspicious person, circumstances (3); threatening (1); traffic hazard (1); traffic stop (8); insecure premises (1); VIN serial number inspection (3); welfare check (1).

A total of 35 homes are currently on our House Watch program and one person is on the Home Alone program.

Warnings, citations

and arrests:

June 18

Diaz Manuel, of Roberts, ID, was given a warning for illegal parking.

Karen Benner, of Westminster, Colo. was given a warning for Headlight.

Rusty Killion, of Saratoga, was given a warning for Headlight and a citation for Expired vehicle Registration.

June 19

Brian Hegg, of Rawlins, was given a citation for a truck route violation, first offense.

June 21

Jerod Allen, of Saratoga, was arrested and given a citation for public drunkeness.

Dylan Mitchell, of Saratoga, was arrested and given a citation for MIP.

June 22

Michael Sawyer, of Saratoga, was arrested and given citations for DWUI, speeding, No Vehicle Insurance, Driving while Suspended/Revoked/Canceled.
