A May snow storm earlier this week caused closures on several major roads in southeast Wyoming.
According to releases by the Wyoming Highway Patrol (WHP), between midnight on Saturday and 11 a.m. on Monday. Patrol officers responded to 97 property damage crashes, 17 injury crashes and two fatal crashes on Wyoming’s roadways. Additionally, the WHP responded to 225 motorist who needed law enforcement assistance.
The Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) stated crews were out “with 50 plows and other equipment” Monday morning throughout southeast Wyoming.
