Crimmins reappointed to PVCC Joint Powers Board

Saratoga/Platte Valley Chamber of Commerce Executive Director Stacy Crimmins has been reappointed to serve on the Platte Valley Community Center Joint Powers Board.

Crimmins has served on the seven-member board since its inception in 2003, the years she also began as the local chamber’s executive director. Her reappointment to the board was announced during last week’s Carbon County Commissioners meeting.

“I’m very proud to serve on the board, and we’ve worked really hard to get to where we’re at today,” Crimmins said. “Sonja Collamer has been a big part of it too. We still have a long ways to go toward reaching our initial goals, and I’m honored to serve.”

Collamer has chosen not to reapply for her board position and it is currently being advertised by the Carbon County Clerk’s office. The closing date for applications is May 28.

Members on the board serve a three-year term. Crimmins’ new board term will expire in 2017.
