Racing against the clock

Katie Loose, the lone 3200-meter female runner for Saratoga High School, ran her event in 14 minutes 44.52 seconds at the Saratoga Invitational Saturday. Despite not having anyone to race against, Loose kept her pace within seconds of her time from the Rawlins Invitational where she placed fifth with a time of 14:42.70. Loose placed fourth at the Wheatland Invite with a time of 14:2.35 last month.
