Forest Service seeks advisory members

Officials from the Medicine Bow-Routt National Forests are seeking members to serve on a citizens’ Resource Advisory Committee (RAC).

The RAC works with the U.S. Forest Service to review and recommend projects which benefit forest health, fish, wildlife and other resources; maintain infrastructure; and control noxious weeds on the National Forests in five counties. The committee was established in 2009 to serve Jackson and Routt counties in Colorado, and Albany and Carbon counties in Wyoming.
