Joseph B. Stolns, 72, of Saratoga died April 2, 2014 at the Veteran’s Affairs Hospital in Cheyenne.
He was born Oct. 8, 1941 in Superior, Colorado to Lewis and Mary Ann Stolns. He worked as a water well driller. He was a member of St. Anne’s Catholic Church, International Order of Oddfellows, American Legion Post #54, a Past Master of Masonic Lodge #14, a charter member of the VFW in Encampment and a 53-year member of the Volunteer Fire Dept.
He is survived by his sister, Dorothy Stolns of Saratoga; brothers, Lewis F. (Elizabeth Jean) Stolns, David A. Stolns and William G. (Vickie) Stolns, all of Saratoga, two nephews and 5 nieces, 2 great-nephews, and 5-great nieces, 2-great-great nephews, 2 great-great nephews numerous cousins and his best friend, John Moore.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
