Young wrestlers grapple at quad

Middle school wrestlers from across Carbon County showed their strength to a home crowd at the Saratoga Middle School Quadrangular last Thursday.

The young wrestlers from Saratoga, HEM and Rawlins competed at the Platte Valley Community Center gym in a free-for-all setting, with no specific weight classes or placings assigned. Two female wrestlers, HEM's Freddie Wagner and Rawlins' Juliet Surber, also stepped out to prove they could compete with the boys.

The Saratoga Middle School Panthers' next meet is the Hanna Triangular, starting at 5 p.m. Thursday at Hanna-Elk Mountain-Medicine Bow High School. Results from Saratoga's quadrangular are listed below:
