Atmospheric adventures

Expecting the weather balloon to pop, several students from Encampment School cover their ears. Dan Gilbert, of Weather Modification , Inc., prepares a weather balloon for a cloud seeding research project. The balloon will record temperature, humidity, wind speed and direction. Students from Saratoga and Encampment Schools will be participating in the experiment through this week. Results from the project will be published at the end of the year.
