Veterans Day activities planned

The American Legion and local schools are planning events to honor veterans in the Valley.

At 5:30 p.m., Saturday, the American Legion is hosting a Veterans Day dinner at the post home.

Monday morning, Saratoga Middle/High School will host a Veterans Day assembly at 8 a.m. The Saratoga Elementary School is hosting their assembly at 8:30 a.m.

Encampment School is holding their Veterans Assembly at 10:50 a.m. in the school’s main gym. The National Honor Society plans the event for Encampment.

The assemblies are open to members of the public and veterans are encouraged to attend. Visitors must sign into the office and get a pass before proceeding to the assembly.
