Discover crafts through canning

Those who love to store their own homemade goods can get their hands on a special canners workshop this weekend in Encampment.

The Grand Encampment and Carbon County Museums are hosting Canning, the next adult workshop in the Heritage Workshop Series: Discovery Traditional Crafts of Carbon County. Led by instructor Cheryl Munroe, the workshop takes place Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. in Encampment, and explores both pressure and water bath canning techniques in a hands-on environment.
