The Saratoga Ladies Golf Team had a good competitive game of golf during Thursday’s Club Championship at the Saratoga Golf Course.
In First Flight, Dawna Erickson scored first place in first low gross, Lila Worden achieved second in first low net, Nancy Facciani garnered third in second low gross and Joni Johnson managed fourth in second low net.
For Second Flight, Joy Hamilton grabbed first place in first low gross, Valerie Larscheid won second in first low net, Marty Perue nabbed third in second low gross and Mariel O’Grady placed fourth in second low net.
Players for the Saratoga Ladies Golf Team strengthened their teamwork skills during “Pick Your Own Partner” Aug. 8 at the Saratoga Golf Course.
Besides Pick Your Own Partner, the ladies also played “Alternate Shots” during their round of golf. Val Larcheid and Nancy Facciani received first place, Joy Hamilton and Dawna Erickson scored second, Lila Worden and Marti Perue achieved third and Mariel O’Grady and Joni Johnson managed fourth.
On July 19, the lady golfers tried their luck at “Best Poker Hand.” The first flight winner was Joni Johnson with a Full House, and second was Lila Worden with a pair of sixes. Marty Perue took first in second flight with a pair of nines, and Joy Hamilton came in second with a pair of eights. Hamilton also won closest to the pin on #8.
