Obituary: Edwardo "Eddie" Escobedo

Edwardo “Eddie” Escobedo was born Sept. 12, 1989. He passed away Aug. 9, 2013 in Denver.

Edwardo grew up in Saratoga and attended grade school through high school graduating with the class of 2008.

Edwardo “Eddie” was very active in school wrestling, football and FCCLA and was loved by all his fellow classmates.

Services were held Aug. 14, 2013 at the Funeraia Pipkin and Braswell en la Capilla,  in Denver.

Mass was given at St. Ann’s Parish Aug. 15, 2013 followed by the burial at the Saratoga Cemetery.

A memorial service was also held at Saratoga Middle/High School on Aug. 15.

Edwardo is survived by his his mother Maria Escobedo, father Manuel Escobedo, brothers:  Adalverto (Consuelo) Escobedo, Luis (Norma) Escobedo, Santos (Soledad) Esocbedo, Manuel (Olga) Escobedo and Gabriel (Mella) Escobedo and Pancho (Estella) Escobedo and sister Carmela (Sergio) Ruiz. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

Edwardo was preceded in death by his brother Martin Escobedo.
