Two women from the Platte Valley are out to make sure our overseas soldiers are remembered and loved during their time of service.
Stacy Morton, of Saratoga, and Virginia Parker, of Encampment, are looking to provide foods, drinks and necessary or recreational items for the 133rd Engineer Battalion, part of the Army National Guard. Morton’s husband, Charlie, is currently serving in Bahrain, Iran as an engineer with the 133rd, and Parker, a Navy wife of 20 years, has been helping soldiers for about 35 years.
