PVHS classes of 1953, '54 to hold reunion

Members of the Platte Valley High School classes of 1953-54 will gather in Saratoga this weekend to jointly celebrate their 60th and 59th reunions.

Events scheduled include a dinner at the Whistle Pig Saturday night and a picnic Sunday afternoon at the home of Carl and Mary Pigg.

Classmates planning to attend from the class of ’53 are Frank Johnson, of Fairbanks, Alaska, Nancy (Baldwin) Lutz, of Port Charlotte, Fla., Ruth (Pierce) Bramall, of Lake Stevens, Wash., Barbara (Hamilton) Runner, of Bouse, Ariz., Virgil Everist, of Las Vegas, Nev., and Marie (Winters) Huntley and Betty (Wiant) Dean, both of Saratoga.

Persons from the class of 1954 indicating they will be in attendance are Charlotte (Fisher) Mitchell of Cottage Grove, Ore,, Charlene (Allen) and Bill Runner of Pavillion, Wyo., Ginger (Meeks) Arellano of Aurora, Colo., Earl Bramall of Lake Stevens, Wash., Enola (Scott) Desmond of Aurora, Colo., Bert Johnson of Elk Mountain, Wyo., and Dick Mowry, Elmer Cooper, Mary (Yates) Pigg and Dick Perue, all of Saratoga. Other who may attend are Kay Ebekka of Laramie, Wyo., and Alice Ann (Blom) Bennett of Denver, Colo.

Guest planning to attend are Kenneth and Alice Swanson. Alice is the widow of 1954 classmate Albert Parrie.
