Well, another Birthday/ Anniversary Evening on July 19, we had the pleasure of serving 49. There were two tables of Dominos and one Bridge Table playing after dinner, played well past my bed time. One birthday shared by Rosemary Craighead, Anniversary’s were Nick & Karen Casson, John & Sharron Platt with the Platt’s winning the meal tickets. Door Prizes went to Mr. Roy Wells, Mr. Nick Casson, and Mr. Ray Milner. Quilters finished up Nancy’s quilt have not seen what is going to be next, but I’m sure we will soon. Domino winners were Bob Thompson, Joe Remick, and Sheila Remick with three wins each, and Ginny Riddick, Jack Riddick, Madeline Telfer, Lois Thompson, Pat Austin, Joan Adam with one each under their belt. We have been playing two tables of Bridge on Wednesday’s, and have finished the Horse Puzzle. Next puzzle will be, “As the Eagle Flies”. Always much thanks to our volunteers, Bob & Lois Thompson, Vonda Wieburg, Nancy Lynch and Laura Rettelle. You all allow this facility to run with a special touch. Let’s not forget Mrs. Ellie who has been volunteering her time twice this month to check Blood Pressure. I know our members appreciate you checking on their health. I have run out of things to share so hope everyone is having as much fun as we are here in Encampment, until next time.
