A night of athletic honors: EHS athletes receive awards at year-end banquet

Encampment High School coaches and athletes looked back on a year of strengths, achievements and improvements at the 2012-2013 E-Club Athletic Banquet.

The banquet held at the Encampment School Gymnasium May 21 was attended by coaches, family members, friends and students who participated in track and field, cross country running, golf, football, girls’ volleyball and basketball over the 2012-13 school year. Coaches reminisced on their respective seasons, and presented student athletes with lettering and certificates for their team effort over the year.

The coaches awarded special honorary plaques to athletes who excelled in certain areas or showed improvement over the year. Graduating seniors also received “E-Club watches,” traditional school wristwatches that include printed tigers, the school’s mascot, on the inside face.
