Short for bingo, long on meal values

There were not enough people here to play bingo Tuesday.

They play duplicate bridge up here on Mondays at 1 p.m. If you would like to play you can call the center at 326-5564 and I can make sure you get on the list. We would really like to get some more players. There were only four people here for bridge on Monday. First place went to Barb Wise. And second place went to Gertrude Herold.

We are always happy to deliver you a meal if you are under the weather or have just been in the hospital. Please give us a call and we will do our best to help you out. If you are 60 or older, or the spouse of someone 60 or older you are eligible to join us for lunch for the low donation of just $3 a meal. We feel that is a great price for a meal this size. Give us a call and come join us. Tickets make a great gift for that hard to buy for person.

Right now it is looking like Thursday will be the day we play dominoes so please plan to stay after lunch and we will play dominoes. These past two days have not worked out too well for dominoes. But we will keep trying.

We had our first line dancing class on Wednesday. There were 10 of us and we had a great time. We will be doing it again every Wednesday at 1 p.m. Mark your calendar and join us.

We will have our movie day on today. Please make plans to come join us for a movie and popcorn.

We still have a few under the weather. Bob and Grace Johnston have both been sick this past week. We want to wish you both a speedy recovery, we all miss you both. Also Leo Yocum has been gone because of illness. And we wish him a speedy recovery.

We want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Bud Milliken. He will be missed by the whole valley. He was quite a guy.

Also we want to send our sincere sympathy to the family of Barbara Heater who passed away Friday. We will miss her joining us here for lunch. She always had a smile and was so sweet.
