Wyoming Farm Bureau offers several scholarships for Wyoming high school students and issued a press release recently encouraging families and students to apply.
Application are available online at http://www.wyfb.org or by calling (800) 442-8325.
Scholarships include the Livingston-King Scholarship valued at $1,500 for 2013. The scholarship is a memorial scholarship for former Wyoming Farm Bureau presidents H.D. Livingston and H. J. King. It is also names for Norma Livingston, mother of Wyoming Farm Bureau president Perry Livingston.
Five Wyoming Farm Bureau Federation scholarships are $500. All of the above-mentioned scholarships have a deadline of March 1, 2013.
Three Continuing Education Scholarships of $500 each are also available and have a deadline of March 1.
In Carbon County, there are five $250 scholarships available to county seniors who meet requirements. These are available at county Farm Bureau offices, the Carbon County Extension Office in Rawlins and through high school counselors.
