Center to offer make-up meal Saturday

Sagebrush Senior Center News

We are back to a somewhat normal schedule after the holidays. Now you ask, what is normal? Well, you will have to come and see.

The quilters were able to get Lila’s quilt in the frame and a good start on the stitches. I haven’t heard what it is called, but it’s a bunch of scraps and very colorful. It will be quilted with straight lines and that makes it nice, as well. Sandy, Betty, Karen, Jo, Kay and Charlotte joined Lila as they added stitches. They are still working on the blocks for the raffle quilt. I can’t wait to see what it is like.

We will have one of the EMS crew here this Thursday to check blood pressures. I’m not sure which one will fill that slot, but we appreciate whoever it is that takes time for us.

The yarn and kitty puzzle was finished by Betty, Lois, Bob and Ginny. The next to be worked on is called “How the West Was Won”. It is many different western pictures. It will be fun, I am sure.

Wayne didn’t have as much snow to shovel, but the delivery crew; Vonda, Bill, Madeline, Bob, Lois and Nancy had meals to deliver. Thanks for all that help!

Last, but not least, are the coffee gals. Ellie, Arleigh, LeDawn, Patty, Connie, Laura and Jo were here to make that coffee disappear and chat about all kinds of things. They are pretty good about keeping the coffee made. So I just listen to the news that is passed around each day.

This Saturday is the make-up meal for this month. Call Friday if you would like to join us for breakfast at noon. That way all of you can meet Ronda, our new site manager, and wish her well for this adventure.

Until next week…health and safety to all of you!
