A man was found dead along the railroad tracks approximately four-and-a-half miles west of Hadsell Road Nov. 19.
Carbon County Sheriff Jerry Colson said Union Pacific Railroad employees notified him of the body at about 8 a.m.
When Sheriff’s deputies arrived they found no evidence of foul play and said it appeared the man had fallen from a train passing through the area at about 6 a.m.
According to Union Pacific Railroad, trains in that area travel at 50 to 70 miles per hour.
Colson said his investigation is now focusing on the identity of the man, described as a white male approximately 30 to 35 years old.
