Joey Novak Finishes Fifth at NCAA Championships

PHILADELPHIA, Pennsylvania (3/22/25) – The growth and maturation of Wyoming’s Joey Novak was on full display at the 2025 NCAA Championships inside Wells Fargo Center. And it was never more evident than in the fifth-place match Saturday afternoon.

Track Season Kicks Off

The 2025 high school track and field season is officially underway. 

Both the Encamoment Tigers and Saratoga Panthers competed in the Wind River Icebreaker at Leroy Sinner Field in Pavillion last weekend. 

Reynolds Wins Big at NCAA Championships

VIRGINIA BEACH, Va. – Senior thrower Daniel Reynolds won Wyoming’s first national title since 2005 with a facility and meet-record throw of 82’ 3 1/2" (25.08 meters) in the weight throw to seal an undefeated season at the 2025 NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championship on Friday.

Cowgirls Open WBIT Thursday Against Texas Tech

LARAMIE, Wyo. – The Wyoming Cowgirls continue their postseason with another appearance in a national tournament. The Cowgirls host Texas Tech in the opening round of the Women’s Basketball Invitation Tournament (WBIT) Thursday at 6:30 p.m.

Tigers Finish Sixth

The Encampment Tigers Boys Basketball Team finished sixth in the Class 1A-2A Wyoming High School State Tournament in Casper last weekend.  

In their first State appearance in five years, the Tigers finished the weekend with one victory and two losses. 

Running Under the Radar

The 3A Rawlins Outlaws Indoor Track team competed at State at the Campbell County Recreation Center on March 6 and 7 in Gillette, Wyoming. The boys brought home the gold in the Boys 4x200 metet Relay with a Rawlins school record time of !:35.90.
