Claudia was born in Fort Collins, Colo. on March 30, 1949, the youngest child of Dorothy (Kuhn) and Leslie H. McCartney of LaPorte, Colo. Claudia lived in LaPorte until she graduated from Poudre High School in 1967. She married Montie E. Munroe in August of that year. She and Montie moved to Encampment, Wyo. in 1972. David, a veteran of the United States Army, loved fishing, the outdoors and was past Commander of the American Legion Post No. 54 in Saratoga. David lived in Saratoga for 42 years and is survived by three daughters; Corie, Mary and Brooke; seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
