The $2 winners were Grace Johnston, Madaline Forbes, and Berneil McCord, and Merle Starr. Merle Starr won the $3 blackout round. Then for this week we had six stay for bingo. The activity department offers a wide variety of activities each week to meet the residents’ interests, as well as the physical, mental and psychological well-being of each resident.     The community garden, which began last year, will have a full growing season and can begin signing up for the beds. The beds are $25 each and entitle the renters to use of the bed and to pick produce from the community strawberry plants and apple trees in the garden.     We had a good week here at Encampment Senior Center. At the Council meeting on Monday it was approved to get what is needed to allow the center to have wi-fi for seniors’ access. It was also approved for us to buy some hummingbird feeders for to be placed at some windows the viewing enjoyment of our seniors.
