    All is well in Encampment, although June flew by way too fast. We kept an eye on blood pressures of 40 people this month, thanks so much to Helen Weilend for Volunteering to do blood pressures this month. We have had 58 coffee drinkers in as of Friday. Quilters have been sewing away on Miss Nancy’s Quilt. We have had over 100 game players throughout this month. Our faithful volunteers deliver the home delivery meal and Kim and I appreciate it.     There were seven here to play Bingo Tuesday. Two-dollar winners were Berneil McCord, Merle Starr, Grace Johnston, and Pat Faust. Berneil McCord and Merle Starr shared a $2 round. Jack Riddick won the $4 blackout round. There were three tables for Duplicate Bridge this week. High winners were Marilyn Walck & Barbara Wright. Attendants at the ceremony were Masha Schenkel, of Groningen, Netherlands as the bride’s maid and Stephen Glithero , of Hertford, Hertfordshire, England as the best man. Salathe and D. van Wagner, geologists, have discovered a perfect silicified skeleton of a very large flying lizard. It measures about 70 feet in length and has a spread of wings nearly 80 feet.     June 5, 1913 100 years ago Putting in Telephone Lines J.D. Kilborn arrived here Tuesday with a crew of men from Elk Mountain. Yesterday morning they left for Ten Mile where they will commence the re-construction of the government telephone lines. They will put in all summer in the Medicine Bow forest putting in lines to connect the Forest stations all up and down the reserve.
