Joseph Grubb, a 2010 graduate of Saratoga Middle/High School, recently graduated from the Florida police academy at the top of his class. Law enforcement has always been a career goal for Joseph. The event took place at the Hilton Garden Inn Laramie, and was put on by the Wyoming Lodging and Restaurant Association Education Foundation.     “Dang, those Mexican food words always mess me up,” Amber Williams exclaimed Saturday afternoon after she was eliminated in the fifth round of the 2014 Wyoming State Spelling Bee for misspelling chalupa as “c-h-o-l-u-p-a.” Because of an error in the final tabulation of the first three rounds of written competition, the Saratoga Middle/High School eighth grader almost missed the final oral competition.     Reaching nearly $3,000 over their original goal, Saratoga Elementary students raised more than $8,000 last week to support the American Heart Association. The students participated in both "Jump Rope for Heart" and "Hoops for Heart", which are fundraisers that support the AHA.
