More than 80 quilts will be displayed at the Pieces of History Quilt Show Friday and Saturday at the Platte Valley Community Center. The quilt show is sponsored by the Saratoga Museum and includes many quilts made by people in the Platte Valley. Blood Pressure will be taken on the Aug. 7, 14, and 21 starting at 11:30 a.m. Breakfast at noon will be Saturday and the menu is scrambled eggs, sausage links, cinnamon roll and fresh fruit. Mrs. Henry and Mrs. Kennedy are both artists in their respective lines and deserving of good support. Mrs. Henry is an exceptionally good reader and rendered several fine pieces and Mrs Kennedy sang a number of solos, which pleased her hearers.
